Sri Manjusha Tella
- Vice President of Communications
Sri is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science. She works in Dr. Mary Lauren Benton's bioinformatics lab, where her research focuses on the intersection of computational biology and deep learning. Specifically, she is developing graph-based methods to analyze chromatin interaction networks. Last year, she served as an alternate department representative for the Graduate Student Association. As the vice president of communications for the 2026 –2027 academic year, Sri is excited to collaborate with fellow student leaders to enhance graduate student engagement, promote cross-departmental collaboration, and advocate for the needs and success of the graduate student community. Aside from her academic pursuits, Sri enjoys playing tennis, running, and creating artworks.
