Now that the semester is underway, we’re excited for all that’s ahead with GSA this fall! Whether you’re looking to meet fellow graduate students, get involved, explore new opportunities, or simply take a break from research, GSA has something for you. All online graduate students, please attend!

On September 9, please attend the virtual Meet-and-Greet for online/hybrid graduate students. It will be from 7:30 to 8:30 CST, and will be hosted by Sixto, the Chair of the Online Community Committee for GSA. This is an opportunity to connect with GSA, learn a little more about resources available to online students, and form community with other Baylor online graduate students. 

Welcome to all the new and returning graduate students! As we begin a new semester, GSA has several opportunities for you to connect with fellow graduate students, get involved, and make the most of your graduate experience at Baylor.

Meet Your New GSA Online Community Chair, compete in the campus visit scavenger hunt, and meet Gabriela Provenzano (Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program) in the student highlight. 

Wow! We have a lot of exciting events coming up this month! This email features details about our April Assembly Meeting, signing up for leadership in GSA, Graduate Student Appreciation Week, Baylor Student Research Week, and Steppin' Out! We are so excited to celebrate with you — your Baylor service, academic achievements, and important roles as graduate students who make Baylor a better University.

Hey Online Graduate Students! Attend an online information session to learn more about Graduate Student Loans. Don't forget to check out the Baylor Alumni Speaker Series and learn how to manage stress, deadlines, and the pressure of the Graduate School. Graduate Student Appreciation Week is coming up, make sure to take advantage of your Bookstore discount!

Check out upcoming events like the All-University Sing and check out Graduate Student Perks like a reduced meal rate and health and wellness resources. You also have access to professional resources like the National Postdoctoral Association and the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. 

As we reach the end of February, we are excited to highlight our GSA events over the next few months. March and April are packed with events, and we can't wait to see you there!
