Ph.D. Student, Sociology

Rachael Murdock

  • Executive Vice President

Rachael is a third-year Ph.D. student and Teacher of Record in the Department of Sociology. She is originally from California and completed her undergraduate education at Pepperdine University. Her research focuses on the intersection of religion and mental health, specifically on how religion impacts one’s sense of meaning and life purpose. Besides her work at Baylor, Rachael enjoys spending time with friends, exploring Waco coffee shops, and being out in nature (especially to practice photography!). Rachael is looking forward to working with GSA to help more graduate students find opportunities for positivity and connection.
