Nathan Ramsey

Nathan is currently in the Higher Education and Student Leadership Ph.D. program within the Moody School of Education. After graduating with  BBA from Baylor in 2019, he worked at both the Walt Disney Company and the University of Dallas. Nathan returned to Baylor for his master's degree in 2024 and immediately began his doctoral studies after graduating in 2026. As a two-time Baylor graduate, he and his wife now call Waco home. His research interests include institutional storytelling, student identities, and competing motivations within higher education. He previously served on the HESA program GSA and is excited to expand his horizons while working with graduate students from all programs here at Baylor! 
In addition to serving as the secretary for GSA, where he mainly records meeting notes and ensures a cohesive and efficient meeting process, Nathan works directly with Dr. Dolan to serve as a bridge between GSA and the Graduate School. His goal is to assist both the GSA and the Graduate School in creating a unified experience that supports graduate student success and wellness.
