Jaimala Kishore

Jaimala Kishore is from Karachi, Pakistan. She is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Public Health Epidemiology program. Before coming to the U.S., she earned both an undergraduate and a master's degree in dentistry, as well as a master's degree in public health. Jaimala is interested in exploring how changes in the oral cavity could be interlinked with deeper systemic diseases. This is her first time getting involved in GSA leadership, and she is excited to promote inclusivity and a sense of belonging within the Baylor graduate student community. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and traveling.
