Elizabeth Ortiz

Elizabeth is a third-year PhD student and Teacher of Record in the CMHD Biology Program. Her research goal is to characterize how cells and factors within the tumor microenvironment regulate the invasion and survival of epithelial tumor cells in 3D culture systems. She completed her M.S. in Biology at California State University, Northridge in 2023. Outside of academia, Elizabeth enjoys baking and spending time with friends.
