Brooke Morris

Brooke is a fifth-year Ph.D. student focusing on the genetics of autoimmune diseases. Her research investigates the relationship between pernicious anemia and autoimmune gastritis with other autoimmune diseases. Her work has been recognized by the National Science Foundation, awarding her the Graduate Research Fellowship for her graduate studies. Brooke is also committed to serving her community and is an active member of Baylor University's Health and Behavior Steering Committee. Additionally, she is a founding Vice President of the Baylor University SACNAS chapter. When not engaged in her research or community work, Brooke loves to spend quality time with her family and four beloved dogs.
